David Marks

David Marks joined the firm in 2025 and practices in the areas of municipal law and litigation.

He represents both municipalities and private clients before numerous local boards and commissions, as well as state agencies.

His experience includes matters involving land use, public records access, extreme risk protection orders, and constitutional law. David has appeared before the Rhode Island District Court, Rhode Island Superior Court, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Rhode Island.

As an appellate advocate, David drafts briefs before the Rhode Island Supreme Court, where he has also served as second chair.

Prior to joining the firm, David served as a  law clerk for the Rhode Island Judiciary in the Superior Court, as an extern for Justice Melissa Long of the Rhode Island Supreme Court, and as a law clerk for Ursillo, Teitz & Ritch.
