Mike Ursillo maintains a general practice of law, with emphasis on municipal and business law, including appointment as legal counsel to four Rhode Island municipalities and labor counsel for three towns; appearances before local and state agencies; prosecution and defense of misdemeanor offenses; contract; real estate; corporate; civil trial; and arbitration preparation. Mike has also been a probate judge for over twenty-five years and has an extensive estate planning practice, including drafting of wills and trusts.
Mike earned his A.B., magna cum laude, from Brown University and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
Mike was Chief Law Clerk for the Trial Court Clerk Pool of the Rhode Island Superior Court, and served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas F. Kelleher, Senior Associate Justice of the Rhode Island Supreme Court. Among his many public service appointments, he is currently a member of the Rhode Island Board of Bar Examiners.
